Smartvillage creates space for genuine encounters — and this becomes tangible at the newly opened location in Cologne.
In the former Carlswerk in Mülheim/Cologne, 23 unique workshop, meeting, and breakout rooms were created
on an area of 5,000 m² under the motto
“Welcome to the Jungle.”
The industrial style of the building, paired with lush jungle flair, is reminiscent of “lost places” and takes visitors on a journey through Latin and South America.
The most important requirement was to implement the design concept within only four months. Special attention was paid
to the sustainability of the materials as well as the products.
In addition to new flexible conference furniture, trade fair returns or furniture from office clearances were integrated
into the design concept in such a way that they appear as
if they had been planned for it from the beginning.
The idea behind this is to give the furniture a second home and become a true “furniture rescuer.”
